The Helvellyn Triathlon on 5 September 2027 is on a unique, challenging course set within the stunning scenery of the Lake District National Park.

Swim 1 mile in the beautiful clear waters of Ullswater. Ride 38 miles though beautiful Lake District scenery and over Kirkstone Pass, one of Britain's most infamous climbs. Finish with a 9 mile fell run on rugged, off-road terrain up the summit of Helvellyn, England's third-highest mountain.

The triathlon can be entered as an individual or as a relay team of 2-3 members. There is also a Aquabike option (Swim + Bike).

This event is organised by the Brownlee Foundation with proceeds raised going towards supporting primary aged children to try triathlon for free.

The start and finish, and transition are all on Jenkins Field, on the edge of Lake Ullswater.
