Jurassic Coast Challenge
Friday, 27 March 2026 to Sunday, 29 March 2026
Portland, Dorset, UK
The Jurassic Coast Challenge from 27 to 29 March 2026 in Portland offers spectacular views and challenging hills along the Dorset Coast Path.
Participants run or walk a marathon a day for 3 days along this stunning coastline. Each day's route takes in a variety of terrain from coastal footpath to beaches and tracks. The start point is just outside Charmouth and the course runs from West to East. The Challenge will finish on Day 3 at the National Trust Shell Bay Car Park, Studland.
This is a self-navigated route on a well signposted coastal footpath with a set distance to complete each day. Checkpoints are located approximately every 10km. Runners, joggers and walkers all take on the challenge and start at different times each day.
