The Lakeland Trails Ullswater on 1 November 2026 includes a 14km and 10km trail run to choose from.

The courses are based on the eastern shores of Ullswater and the event includes a complimentary cruise along Ullswater to the start of the run in Howtown. Runners run the stunning trails back to Glenridding, finishing at Jenkin's Field.

If the boats are unable to sail, there are two alternative courses which take you to the far side of Ullswater.

The 14km distance can be run as a competitive race, or as a challenge for less competitive runners and Nordic/fitness walkers.
