Race The Sun Jurassic Coast on 26 June 2027 is a triathlon-style team multisport challenge with a bike, hike and paddle.

Teams of two or four race against the setting sun. All team members compete in each discipline. As a team event you’re only as fast as your slowest team member, you need to stick together for the whole race.

Based from Swanage, the first leg is a 21-mile off-road bike ride on a mix of riding surfaces including dusty gravel trails, roads through the heart of Corfe and chalky ascents across Ballard Down. The 10 mile hike/trek is a circular route that follows some of South West Coast Path and back to Swanage via rural farmland. The final water leg is a 2 mile sea canoe or kayak off Swanage beach.

This event is a fundraiser for Action Medical Research to support life-changing research across the UK to help save and change the lives of sick and vulnerable children.
